Muddy Mayhem

Well done to all those in Year 3 who completed our exciting Muddy Mayhem afternoon on Friday. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and resilience of all the children - even with the rain! Also, a big thank you to all the families who came along to show support.

Upcoming dates for the diary:

Friday 4th October - Church visit

Wednesday 23rd October - 1:30pm - Canopic Jar Parent Afternoon

Also please remember to ring our school office to book an appointment for our Parents' Evening (Tuesday 5th November) and Morning (Thursday 7th November) next half term. It would be lovely to meet with you to discuss how your child has settled into Year 3.

Just a polite reminder that reading books need to be in school everyday. Our Accelerated Reader time is 9am every morning where children are either reading or completing a quiz about their book once they have a parent/home comment.

P.E kits (including suitable outdoor trainers/plimsoles) need to be in school every Tuesday and Thursday. On these days earrings also need to be removed or plasters provided if they are unable to be taken out yet.

A big thank you to everyone who has started and completed the Mastermind Challenge set by Mrs Lupton! Remember you have until 11th October if you wish to take part. It can be presented in any way you wish - the most important part is the investigation, discussion and vocabulary used to complete it. Looks like there has been some wonderful, interesting discussions so far!
